We carefully examine each bowl, rejecting those that are cracked, excessively oxidized. Antique Singing Bowls are traditionally forged from an alloy of up to seven metals - gold, silver, mercury, copper, iron, tin and lead have been used, each metal being traditionally thought to represent a different body in the solar system. Every bowl is hand-crafted and the exact combination of metals used for each will vary, as will its shape and size. This results in each bowl having its very own distinct character and sound. All the antique singing bowls we offer have long sustaining multi-toned complex sounds.

Our modern singing bowls are all handmade by skilled artisans in the Himalayas. We only choose and sell bowls that produce very beneficial and rich harmonic overtones. Some of the bowls have beautiful etchings of Buddhist deities on the inside of them. Unlike cheaper metal versions or fully machine made bowls, All our Singing Bowls are made from the finest bronze alloy. Every bowl has been hand-beaten and worked by a master craftsman.
